Northern California Association of Home Builders
 The Northern California Association of Home Builders (NCHB) is a non-profit
association organized in Humboldt County in 1991. NCHB's main objective is to see that new
housing remains affordable. In addition, we advocate for reasonable development and
construction government costs and policies for the whole of the building industry in the county.
In order to maintain these objectives we: inform county Supervisors, city
council members and planning commissioners; meet with government agencies and appropriate department
heads; monitor government actions which could affect the construction industry and, if necessary,
litigate when fees are assessed illegally,
